Overview

The Quota feature in the Webberstop Cloud Portal provides users with a clear and organized view of their resource limits and current usage across different datacenters. This allows for proactive infrastructure planning, efficient resource utilization, and a streamlined way to request increases when scaling is required.

Viewing Your Quota

To view your current resource quota:

  1. Navigate to the Quota section from the portal sidebar.

  2. You’ll be presented with a detailed table displaying your quota usage across all configured datacenters.

Each row in the table provides insights into key resource metrics, such as:

ColumnDescription
ResourceType of resource (e.g., Memory, CPU, SSD Storage, IP Addresses, Virtual Machines, VM Autoscale, etc.)
LimitThe maximum allowed value for each resource type
UsageThe current amount of the resource in use
AvailableThe remaining amount available for use (Limit - Usage)
RequestedAny additional resources you've requested
Request StatusThe status of any pending quota increase requests
ActionA link to Request To Increase a specific resource quota

This table offers a centralized way to monitor and manage your resource allocations for each location, such as Athens, Greece, or other datacenters you may use.

Requesting a Quota Increase

If you're approaching your resource limits and need additional capacity, follow these steps to submit a request:

  1. In the Quota section, click Request To Increase next to the resource you wish to expand.

  2. A form will appear with the following fields:

    • Current Limit: Displays your existing quota for that resource.
    • Desired Limit: Enter the new limit you're requesting.
  3. Click Send Request to submit.

Your request will then appear as Pending, and the Webberstop support team will review it.

Request Review & Notifications

  • While under review, the Request Status will remain in a pending state.
  • You will receive a notification in your user profile once your request has been approved or denied.
  • Approved quotas are automatically reflected in your dashboard.

tip

It’s a best practice to submit quota increase requests in advance of high-demand periods or planned scaling events to avoid service interruptions.
