Free Credits

Free credits are promotional or onboarding credits offered to new Webberstop Cloud users to help them explore the platform without immediate billing. These credits can be used to pay for various services, including compute, storage, and network usage.

Credits are typically distributed via a coupon code, and once redeemed, they are added to your billing account and automatically applied during invoicing.

🎁 Claim Free Credits​

If you've received a promotional or welcome coupon, follow these steps to redeem it:

Redeem a Coupon Code​

  1. Navigate to the Billing section from the sidebar.
  2. Click on the Coupons tab.
  3. Enter your coupon code in the provided field.
  4. Click REDEEM COUPON.

Once successfully applied, the free credits will appear in your account.

💰 How Free Credits Work​

✅ Usage of Credits​

Free credits can be applied to eligible cloud services such as:

  • Compute (VMs, snapshots)
  • Storage (block storage, object storage)
  • Networking (public IPs, bandwidth)

💡 Credits are used automatically as long as they’re available in your account.

💳 Credit Value​

The credit amount will be displayed after the coupon is redeemed. Different codes may offer different values depending on the promotion.

⏳ Expiration​

Credits are valid for a limited time (e.g., 30 days from activation). Any unused amount will expire after the credit period ends and cannot be reissued.

📊 Managing Free Credits​

To monitor your available credits:

  1. Go to Billing from the sidebar.
  2. Open the Account Statement tab.
  3. Click on the Free Credits tab.

You’ll see:

  • Total Credits Issued
  • Available Credits Remaining
  • Expiration Date for each credit entry

💵 Apply Free Credits to Pay an Invoice​

  1. Navigate to Billing > Account Statement.
  2. Locate the invoice you want to pay.
  3. Click the three dots (⋯) under the Actions column.
  4. Select View & Pay.
  5. In the payment window, enter the amount you'd like to cover with your credits.
  6. Click Apply Credits to deduct the amount from your free balance.

📜 Terms and Conditions​

  • Non-Transferable: Credits are tied to the account that redeemed the coupon and cannot be transferred.
  • Non-Refundable: Unused credits cannot be exchanged for cash or refunded.
  • Eligibility: Credits may be restricted based on user region, account status, or promotional eligibility.

What happens if I don't use all my free credits?​

Unused credits will expire after the specified period and cannot be extended or recovered.

Can I use free credits on all services?​

Free credits apply to most core cloud services, but certain premium or third-party services may be excluded. Always refer to the promotion's specific terms for usage limits.
